It’s the start of many great occasions, with Easter, extra bank holiday weekends and the Queen’s Jubilee to enjoy. Easter is such a good time for all the family to have fun at Osea Meadows and the surrounding area. The Essex coast is the perfect place for Easter Egg hunts, visits to nearby family farms and nature trails. Osea Meadows offers so much space for the whole family to enjoy, nestled alongside the Blackwater estuary the glamping site offers stunning views over the estuary and saltmarshes, ideal for spotting birds darting along the river.

Maldon Mud Race

One of the main events of the season takes place nearby. The famous Maldon Mud Race on Sunday 24 April attracts thousands of supporters, with competitors taking on the depths of the river Blackwater’s sticky racecourse. Along with people rolling in the mud, there’s also a duck race, stalls and a whole heap of fun to be had.
