Spring has sprung and we’re so excited to be re-opening our doors. We can’t wait to welcome back our happy campers and glampers to the stunning surrounds of Osea Meadows.

As we step out of lockdown, we’re delighted to offer a wide range of glamping and camping options. New this year is our stunning stargazer yurt, it’s the perfect place to relax in luxury and wonder at the night sky. We’ve also invested in superior Shepherd’s Huts, which offer heaps of rustic charm with spacious interiors, plus a fun mezzanine with single bed. Adding to our collection of pods are the new ‘Emperor’ and ‘Duke’, both benefit from glazed frontages and offer ample space for the family to relax in style. Of course, there’s also a wide range of fully-equipped lodge tents, which sleep between 4-16 people, plus a well-appointed campsite with optional hook-up.*

The Great Outdoors

Feel free to explore the great outdoors from our base alongside the river Blackwater. Soak up the beautiful estuarine views, take a stroll along the Saltmarsh Coastal Trail to nearby Heybridge basin. Wander around the canal’s lock system and treat yourself to a refreshing drink at the nearby pub. If you’re feeling really energetic head on to the market town of Maldon, gaze at the old Thames barges and explore its bustling High Street. On your return, pop into the Tiptree Tea room and order a cream tea – delicious!

There’s also plenty to do on the river as well as alongside it. Bring your kayak, paddleboard or fishing rod. The estuary is a playground for everyone.

Check out the Deckhouse!

Give yourself a break from cooking! Check out our Deckhouse, which has a new patio area, perfect for alfresco dining with views over the estuary. Chef has also created a fresh new menu, including breakfast at weekends! Tuck into ciabattas, jacket potatoes and enjoy burger or pizza nights, plus fish and chip Fridays! Finally, kids are going to be licking their lips at this one, a new Mr Whippy ice cream machine has been installed, so what are you waiting for?

After a winter in lockdown, Osea is the perfect place to reconnect with friends and family. Share the great outdoors, wine and dine around the barbecue and sit by a warming firepit. You’ll be able to relax knowing your teenagers and little ones can play and explore in a secure environment, which offers acres of fun.
