Osea Leisure Park Celebrates a Record-Breaking Summer and Welcomes...
Osea Leisure Park, set on the beautiful Blackwater Estuary near Maldon in Essex, is celebrating one of its most exciting summers yet. From record-breaking live music weekends to new places to eat, drink and unwind, the park has been buzzing with visitors. And now, thanks to a brand-new 12-month site licence, Osea is ready to welcome guests for holidays and short breaks all year round.
A Bank Holiday to Remember
The August Bank Holiday weekend saw Osea Leisure Park come alive with music, family fun and unbeatable coastal vibes during the much-loved Ultimate Tribute Weekend.
Across two sun-soaked days, holidaymakers and local day visitors gathered for:
- World-class tribute acts – some of the UK’s best performers brought an electric festival atmosphere to the Blackwater Estuary.
- Free family fun, from face-painting to bouncy castles
- Delicious summer food and drink at The Deckhouse and the brand-new Osea View Café.
With no tickets required and free parking, it was the busiest weekend in Osea’s history – a true community celebration.
“The atmosphere was electric – families and friends came together to enjoy the sunshine, the food, the fun and the live music,” said Janie Robinson, owner of Osea Leisure Park. “It really reminded us how special Osea is.”
New Experiences on the Essex Coast
Summer 2025 also brought new reasons to visit Osea:
- The Osea View Café – a relaxed, dog-friendly estuary-side café that’s fast becoming a favourite with locals and King Charles III England Coast Path explorers.
- Osea Seafood Festival – a new annual highlight celebrating Maldon’s famous seafood heritage with local suppliers, live music and coastal flavours.
- Seasalt Meadows Lodge Development – a stunning new collection of luxury holiday lodges beside the estuary. Owners can enjoy modern interiors, large private decking, and the rare chance to use their lodge in one of Essex’s most sought-after waterside locations year-round.
Holidays in Every Season
With the new 12-month site licence, Osea Leisure Park is now perfect for autumn and winter breaks as well as spring and summer escapes. Think crisp estuary walks followed by coffee at the Osea View Café, cosy nights in your lodge, or festive getaways with friends and family.
It’s also the perfect base for exploring the Saltmarsh Coast from Maldon’s famous oysters and historic quayside to nature reserves, sailing, open-water swimming and photography spots (don’t miss the iconic beach huts near the park – some of the UK’s most photographed).
