Summer is a great time to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors. Keeping active boosts your endorphins relieving the body from stress and anxiety. At Osea Meadows our visitors enjoy making the most of our unique location. We’re set by the breathtakingly beautiful Blackwater Estuary near Maldon in Essex. Here you can listen to birdsong, watch traditional Thames barges sail by, breathe in the fresh salt-water air and indulge in an ice cream! Glampers also take part in lots of different activities from walking to sailing and cycling to stand-up paddle boarding. We also have launching ramps for small yachts, kayaks and jet-skis. Although many of our guests make the most of outdoor pursuits, lots of our happy glampers visit for some much-needed rest and recuperation. Here you can take the opportunity to top up your tan, whilst giving your children the chance to get out on their bikes and explore our secure grounds.

After a long day making the most of the great outdoors, we have a wide range of glamping options for our campers. We offer a range of beautifully-crafted wooden framed pods, Shepherd’s Huts, lodge tents and a much-loved treehouse. Much of our accommodation boasts ensuite bathrooms with electric showers, sink and toilet. Kitchenette areas provide excellent cooking facilities – some have a microwave oven. Our glamping pods, lodges and tents can sleep from 4-16 people, and there’s lots of creature comforts to choose from, such as a TV, double bed and underfloor heating!

A campfire makes the perfect end to a wonderful day with family and friends. The sunsets are amazing at Osea Meadows as the sun dips out of view over the estuary.
