Autumn Fun at Osea

We’re extending our glamping season, so why not take a well-earned break this autumn in one of our cosy glamping pods or tents?

Osea Meadows is extending the holiday season so you can enjoy even more time at our fabulous glamping and camping site. That means we are available during the October half-term break for families to have even more fun and enjoy a great outdoors setting, whilst staying in warm and snug accommodation.

Essex does have the driest and sunniest climes in the country. There can be Indian summers, when it is still warm outside, and it is not too hot.

Autumn half-term, weekend, and mid-week breaks
Get away from it all in mid-week autumn breaks and spend quiet time exploring. If you’re a young couple pop down to Osea and enjoy a short break with a spot of paddleboarding on the river. If you love fine food and wine enjoy the harvest whilst also enjoying country walks, birdwatching and head back to your glamping retreat to cook up a feast.
Osea is an enchanting place for everyone, you can explore miles and miles of natural surroundings. Take a stroll along the Saltmarsh Path to Maldon in one direction and Tollesbury in the other, and see migrating birds flock to the estuary.

Stay snug and cosy
Accommodation is snug and cosy, in specially designed, glasshouses, pods or tents.

The Glasshouses are brilliant with central heating, designer-led kitchens, and your own large deck, jacuzzi and firepit. Just great for having fun with the family.

Beautifully crafted cosy wooden pods also give a whole new meaning to glamping, with electric showers and well-equipped kitchenettes.

Even our tents have wood burning stoves to keep you warm at night and our glamourous, Master Safari tents have a sauna and hot tub! They can sleep up to sixteen people. They are ideal for a family or friends’ get-together with comfortable, private bedrooms and all the mod-cons.
